these techniquess are mean and cruel putting ammonia and onion in front of your horse and picking him with a nail to shake his head. horses are trusting animals you should be ashamed of your self!!

I have already taught my 3 yr old gelding Max, to bow. now i want him to smile, so i tried the onion peal and he ate it! then i tried listerine mouth wash and he really liked that! then i tried peanut butter and again, he wanted a taste! is there anything else that will make is lip curl?

I have a almost 3 y.o. Paint filly that I wanted to teach some tricks I started a few months ago and she already knows how to laydown, bow, kneel, sit, shake hands, smile, stick out her tongue, blow her nose, rear, hold things in her mouth, and pull the blanket off her back and pick it up and give it to me. For the smile I just told her to smile then I would pick up her lip then give her a treat and pet her and she learned it in 2 days. I haven't taught her anything new for several weeks i'm just running out of ideas. Any ideas? Oh and by the way there is nothing wrong with a little poke of a nail it doesn't hurt the horse at all it sure wouldn't hurt me.

I have an 8 year old tennessee walking gelding that i am recentley trainign to do tricks. I like your website and i have seen the pictures and i was wondering about how long it took you to teach your horses how to bow or lie down.

I like your web... but ammonia that's wrong!! You'll make your horse sick. There has to be a better way, because I would never use ammonia on my horse!!

My name is Jen, and thanks to this sight I have been able to train my horse how to say "yes". He already knows how to rear up. His name is Arapahoe, And I am about to put him in the quarter horse races. And with all the training he is doing me and him could use a break. He is only 5, and he is already 17 hands. But that is probably because he is out of the bloodline of Snazy two rockets and jet deck. Well I think your sight is great.
