It's very interesting of a story. I agree that John Lyons is an excellent trainer, although some of his concepts I don't agree with. I'm glad it worked for the woman in the story. I love horses, and I'm always glad to see someone else learn to love them too. Posted By: Gina |

I really enjoyed your article. I am starting off on the same challege with a 7 year old Arbian Tina is her name. I am also a grandmother and starting to spend time with my friend Tina. Wow...this article is amazing! Im only 14 years old and I had just recently bought a 3 year old Paint mare. Im training her to be in Western Pleasure shows. Well, she is more of a challenge then I thought. When I first got her, she was just like that 1 in 10 horse. I was almost going to give up on her due to the fact I kept thinking I couldnt train her alone and my dad wouldnt let her be professionally trained (to much $). I was at a fork in the road with her training until I read this article. Im going to get some John Lyons tapes and hopefully with a lot of time, finish my mare to make her the 1 in a million horse that I know she could be! Thanks!!! Posted By: Alexa |

Just goes to show you....NEVER GIVE UP!! I have a 4 yr old TWH that I spent 2 HARD years training.Most days it seemed we were going backwards instead of forward.Then all of a sudden.......he is the perfect horse,the love of my life.....and my grandkids can safely get on him now.Who was my trainer.............John Lyons tapes and me!!John's mehods really do work!I now have a horse everyone comments on and asks how I got him so well trained for a 4 yr old.
