Our Horse was vaccinated and the next day she was staggering, no fever, eating well. She had a blood test which showed high white blood cell count and muscle damage. Any ideas?

My horse, a 14 year old QH gelding has reactions to vaccines. He has had laminitis 3 times following vaccinations. This last time, he had been on "bute" for 2 days before being vaccinated and for a week after. He still developed swelling in all 4 legs and his sheath. No fever. Should I ask my veterinarian about starting him on an antihistamine as well as the bute?

      Can you do vaccinations yourself?
