A wonderful cross is between an Andalusian and a Friesian, called a Warlander. This horse has beautiful conformation and the intelligence and kindness of both breeds. See Abacus Farms website for photos.

I have a colt just born to unregistered (draft cross) mare by registered Andalusian stud. I'm going to geld him, but am considering registering half Andalusian, but can't find information on cost. Any help would be appreciated.

The Hispano-arab IS a breed, Pura Raza Hispano-Arabe, registered in Spain with the UEGHa. That is different from an incidental cross PRE/Arab or PRE/thoroughbred, a socalled Cruzado.

The link to the Hispano-Arabe Registry doesn't work. It connects to a strange site that doesn't say anything about registering a horse. Help! Thanks.

Can registration for a foal take place if the dam is not registered but the sire(andalusian)is?
